Asbestos Testing

If your house was built before 1990, you may need to test for asbestos prior to starting renovations.  The older the house, the more likely you will have to test for asbestos.  Asbestos could exist in insulation, plaster, ceiling tiles, floor tiles, shingles or siding.  If disturbed, breathing the airborne fibres could lead to lung cancer.  

Reno Pro Tech will take a small sample of suspected material and have them analyzed for the presence of asbestos.  Allow 5-10 business days for the results.
